What accounts there are
According to the official guidance there are six (Standard STP, RAW ECN, PRO ECN, Cent, Swap Free, Premium Unlimited).
| Account | Spread (from) | Minimum deposit | Commission (per lot, per side) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard STP | 1.1 pips | $50 | None |
| RAW ECN | 0.0 pips | $50 | From $3.00 |
| PRO ECN | 0.0 pips | $10,000 | From $1.50 |
| Cent | 0.0 pips | $50 | $0~$3.00 |
| Swap Free | 0.0 pips | $50 | Administration fee instead of swap |
| Premium Unlimited | 0.1 pips | $500~$3,000* | None |
*The minimum deposit for Premium Unlimited differs by country and is shown on the dashboard after you log in (the amount is stated differently even within the official pages). It comes with a 20% swap discount, no copy trading, a 0% stop out, and eligibility requirements (usually at least 10 trades and 3 lots within 12 months).
These are the values written in the official account comparison table (4 types) and on the individual account pages (Swap Free, Premium Unlimited), checked on 2026-09-26. It states that the commission-free pricing does not apply to some stock and ETF instruments.
It states that the 50% margin call and 20% stop out apply to STP and ECN accounts, and that the positions with the largest losses are closed first. For Premium Unlimited, the margin call is 30% and the stop out is 0%.
It states that leverage is within the 1:100~1:2000 range on all accounts, that it may be lowered to 1:1000 or 1:500 if the requirements are not met, and that some instruments are fixed. Premium Unlimited advertises up to 2,000,000,000:1, but it notes that this is not guaranteed and may be limited or reduced at any time. The higher the leverage, the more even a small price change can make you lose all the money you put in.
Comparing spreads
The spread is the difference between the buying price and the selling price. It is in effect your trading cost, so the more often you buy and sell, the wider it opens up.

How you deposit and withdraw
The fees the broker charges and the fees the bank charges are separate matters. The figures below are on the broker's side.
- Deposit fee — It states that the broker does not charge one. However, Neteller and Skrill add their own fees, and overseas transfers may incur separate bank charges.
- Minimum deposit — 50 units of the account currency. It states 5,000 yen for yen accounts and 400 dollars for Hong Kong dollar accounts.
- Withdrawal fee — International bank transfers carry 20 units of the account currency (3,000 yen, 150 Hong Kong dollars). Cryptocurrency withdrawals have a base rate of 3% per transaction, and the actual rate follows the value shown on the withdrawal screen. It states that intermediary and receiving bank fees are paid by the client.
- Minimum withdrawal — $30 (3,000 yen). It states that if your balance is lower than that, you withdraw whatever is left in one go.
- Account currency — Nine of them: US dollar, euro, pound, yen, Australian dollar, New Zealand dollar, Canadian dollar, Singapore dollar and Hong Kong dollar.
- How long it takes — For deposits, it states that cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay are instant (subject to 3DS, risk review and daily limits), e-wallets are instant or within 24 business hours depending on the provider, local bank transfers in some countries are within 24 business hours (Korea is not on the list), and overseas transfers take 2~5 business days. The methods you can use differ by region, so you need to check in the Client Portal.

Who regulates it
There is one brand, but several entities hold the accounts. Which entity you end up contracting with is decided on the sign-up application page.
- Mauritius FSC — It states that VIG Group is registered under license number GB20026165. This is the entity that operates the brand.
- Australia's ASIC — Vantage Global Prime Pty Ltd holds AFSL 428901.
- South Africa's FSCA — Vantage Markets (Pty) Ltd is registered under license number 51268.
- Vanuatu's VFSC — Vantage Global Limited is listed under registration number 700271.
- Fund insurance — It states that only if Vantage cannot meet its obligations (such as insolvency), excess-of-loss insurance (arranged by WTW, underwritten by ARCH 2012 at Lloyd's) of up to $1 million per eligible client ($50 million aggregate limit) applies under its terms and conditions. Trading losses are not covered, it is not a deposit protection scheme, and recovery is not guaranteed.
- Dispute resolution — It states that it is a member of the Financial Commission. This is a body that handles arbitration when a dispute arises with a broker.
- Negative balance protection — It states that a negative balance on an eligible account is automatically reset to 0. PAMM/MAM accounts and copy-trading accounts that have active copiers are excluded. This is company policy, not a regulatory guarantee, and your balance can go negative if the price jumps sharply.
This is what the official site states in its footer and on its contact page, checked on 17 September 2026.
The fund insurance and negative balance protection rows were rechecked on 26 September 2026 against the official insurance page, a press release and help articles.
Questions
What is a CFD?
It is a contract to exchange only the price difference, without buying the physical asset. Trading gold does not make the gold yours. You can take a position whether the price rises or falls, but losses come in the same size.
How much do I need to start?
Standard STP, RAW ECN, Cent and Swap Free are $50, and PRO ECN is $10,000. It states that for Premium Unlimited the amount differs by country (USD 500~3,000 on the official page) and is shown on the dashboard after you log in. Check again on the official pages before you apply.
Can I just practice?
Demo trading is available. You practice on the same screens with virtual money, so no real money is involved.
What is leverage?
It is a way of trading a large amount with a small amount of money. Profits and losses both grow in multiples, so even a small move against you can force your position to be closed.
Is this the official site?
No. It is a place that provides guidance in English and passes you on through a referral link. Accounts, deposits and withdrawals, and enquiries all take place on the official Vantage Markets pages.
What about taxes?
Tax treatment of overseas derivatives trading differs by country and by personal circumstances. Check the rules where you live.
Check before you start
A CFD is a product where you can lose your capital. Please be sure to read the following.
- Loss of capital — Accounts not covered by negative balance protection (professional clients, PAMM/MAM, etc.) can lose more than the money put in. Only use money you can afford to lose.
- Leverage — The bigger your bet, the shorter the distance to a forced close (liquidation). As a rule, beginners should not use too much of it.
- Regions served — Sign-up may be restricted depending on your country. First check on the sign-up page whether your country can be selected.
- Excluded regions — The official guidance states that it does not provide services to residents of certain regions including India, Canada, China, Singapore and the United States, countries on the FATF blacklist, and regions subject to US, EU or UN sanctions. This list is not exhaustive.
- Terms can change — Spreads, fees, and promotions change without notice. Check the official information before applying.
- Not a solicitation to invest — This site only compiles and passes on information; it does not recommend any particular trade.
