Vantage Markets

About Vantage Markets

Not the official site — a guide to how it works.

Here is a summary of what Vantage Markets is and what you can trade there.

About Vantage Markets

About the company

According to its official information, it is a multi-asset CFD broker with Australian roots. The figures below are as stated by the official site and may change.

  • Years in business — It states that it has been in the market for over 15 years.
  • Instruments — Covers over 1,000 CFD instruments.
  • Users — It states that it has over 5 million registered users.
  • Sponsorship — It states that it is an official partner of Scuderia Ferrari HP.

Who regulates it

There is one brand, but several entities hold the accounts. Which entity you end up contracting with is decided on the sign-up application page.

  • Mauritius FSC — It states that VIG Group is registered under license number GB20026165. This is the entity that operates the brand.
  • Australia's ASIC — Vantage Global Prime Pty Ltd holds AFSL 428901.
  • South Africa's FSCA — Vantage Markets (Pty) Ltd is registered under license number 51268.
  • Vanuatu's VFSC — Vantage Global Limited is listed under registration number 700271.
  • Fund insurance — It states that only if Vantage cannot meet its obligations (such as insolvency), excess-of-loss insurance (arranged by WTW, underwritten by ARCH 2012 at Lloyd's) of up to $1 million per eligible client ($50 million aggregate limit) applies under its terms and conditions. Trading losses are not covered, it is not a deposit protection scheme, and recovery is not guaranteed.
  • Dispute resolution — It states that it is a member of the Financial Commission. This is a body that handles arbitration when a dispute arises with a broker.
  • Negative balance protection — It states that a negative balance on an eligible account is automatically reset to 0. PAMM/MAM accounts and copy-trading accounts that have active copiers are excluded. This is company policy, not a regulatory guarantee, and your balance can go negative if the price jumps sharply.

This is what the official site states in its footer and on its contact page, checked on 17 September 2026.

The fund insurance and negative balance protection rows were rechecked on 26 September 2026 against the official insurance page, a press release and help articles.

Frequently asked questions

What is a CFD?

It is a contract to exchange only the price difference, without buying the physical asset. Trading gold does not make the gold yours. You can take a position whether the price rises or falls, but losses come in the same size.

Is this site the official Vantage site?

No. We are a community that provides guidance on Vantage Markets in English and introduces sign-up links. Account opening, identity verification, deposits and withdrawals, and trading are all handled directly by Vantage, the broker, and we are not involved. So values such as conditions or amounts must be checked again in Vantage's official information.

Is Vantage a true ECN broker?

The official guidance says it offers "ECN-style" trading through the Raw ECN account, while stating that orders are executed on a principal basis. In other words, the counterparty to clients' trades is Vantage itself, and it states that Vantage is not an exchange or a direct market participant.

Does Vantage lend money to trade with?

No. The official guidance states that Vantage is not a financial institution and therefore does not provide loans or credit. It explains that it only provides the programs used for trading. If anyone approaches you offering to lend you money, be sure to check this against the official guidance.

Where are the Vantage trading servers located?

According to the official guidance, the trading servers are located in London and New York, among other places. It states that in addition to these two main servers, the infrastructure has been extended to data centers in Sydney, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taipei. It says the servers are operated in partnership with Equinix. The speed you actually experience may vary depending on your internet environment.

Can Vantage promotions be joined from Korea as well?

Whether a promotion is available may differ by country and region. On the eligibility check page in Vantage's official guidance, choose the promotion you want and enter your details to see whether you can take part. Each promotion has a set limit on what one eligible client can receive, and promotions are divided into those that can be used together and those that cannot be used at the same time, so check the terms and conditions of each. We do not list terms or amounts separately, so please follow Vantage's guidance or its customer center for the final check.

Where do I ask about account or deposit problems?

The official guidance states that the Vantage support team strives to provide customer support 24 hours a day, all year round. You can use live chat via the chat icon on the Vantage website, or send an email to support@vantagemarkets.com. The time it takes to get a reply may vary depending on the situation. Our community does not handle inquiries on your behalf, so please contact the broker directly about account problems.
