Vantage Markets Guide in English — Forex, Gold, Index CFDs

Vantage Markets

Getting Started with Vantage Markets

Not the official site — a guide to how it works.

Here are the steps from opening an account to your first trade, and what to know before you start.

Getting Started with Vantage Markets

From opening an account to trading

Four steps and you are done. If this is your first time, we suggest starting with demo trading using virtual money.

Create an account

The button below takes you to the official sign-up page. Enter your email and basic details.

Identity verification

Upload your ID and proof of address. The broker reviews them.

Deposit

Put money into your account. It states that no deposit fee is charged.

Connect a platform

Pick MT4, MT5, or the app, connect your account, and start trading.

How you deposit and withdraw

The fees the broker charges and the fees the bank charges are separate matters. The figures below are on the broker's side.

  • Deposit fee — It states that the broker does not charge one. However, Neteller and Skrill add their own fees, and overseas transfers may incur separate bank charges.
  • Minimum deposit — 50 units of the account currency. It states 5,000 yen for yen accounts and 400 dollars for Hong Kong dollar accounts.
  • Withdrawal fee — International bank transfers carry 20 units of the account currency (3,000 yen, 150 Hong Kong dollars). Cryptocurrency withdrawals have a base rate of 3% per transaction, and the actual rate follows the value shown on the withdrawal screen. It states that intermediary and receiving bank fees are paid by the client.
  • Minimum withdrawal — $30 (3,000 yen). It states that if your balance is lower than that, you withdraw whatever is left in one go.
  • Account currency — Nine of them: US dollar, euro, pound, yen, Australian dollar, New Zealand dollar, Canadian dollar, Singapore dollar and Hong Kong dollar.
  • How long it takes — For deposits, it states that cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay are instant (subject to 3DS, risk review and daily limits), e-wallets are instant or within 24 business hours depending on the provider, local bank transfers in some countries are within 24 business hours (Korea is not on the list), and overseas transfers take 2~5 business days. The methods you can use differ by region, so you need to check in the Client Portal.

Checked in the official guidance on 17 September 2026. It may differ depending on the payment method and the currency.

The withdrawal fee and processing time rows were rechecked in the official guidance on 26 September 2026.

Check before you start

A CFD is a product where you can lose your capital. Please be sure to read the following.

  • Loss of capital — Accounts not covered by negative balance protection (professional clients, PAMM/MAM, etc.) can lose more than the money put in. Only use money you can afford to lose.
  • Leverage — The bigger your bet, the shorter the distance to a forced close (liquidation). As a rule, beginners should not use too much of it.
  • Regions served — Sign-up may be restricted depending on your country. First check on the sign-up page whether your country can be selected.
  • Excluded regions — The official guidance states that it does not provide services to residents of certain regions including India, Canada, China, Singapore and the United States, countries on the FATF blacklist, and regions subject to US, EU or UN sanctions. This list is not exhaustive.
  • Terms can change — Spreads, fees, and promotions change without notice. Check the official information before applying.
  • Not a solicitation to invest — This site only compiles and passes on information; it does not recommend any particular trade.

Frequently asked questions

How much do I need to start?

Standard STP, RAW ECN, Cent and Swap Free are $50, and PRO ECN is $10,000. It states that for Premium Unlimited the amount differs by country (USD 500~3,000 on the official page) and is shown on the dashboard after you log in. Check again on the official pages before you apply.

Can I just practice?

Demo trading is available. You practice on the same screens with virtual money, so no real money is involved.

What is leverage?

It is a way of trading a large amount with a small amount of money. Profits and losses both grow in multiples, so even a small move against you can force your position to be closed.

What about taxes?

Tax treatment of overseas derivatives trading differs by country and by personal circumstances. Check the rules where you live.

Can I open two accounts, or change the account type and currency later?

According to the official guidance, each person may hold only one registered account, and duplicate applications are not accepted. The account type, currency, and trading platform (the program you use to place orders) you choose at registration cannot be changed later either, so take your time when you first choose. If you need different terms, you can open one more trading account in the Client Portal (the personal management screen operated by the broker). The account review and approval are done by the broker, not by us.

The email verification code does not arrive when I sign up.

First, check that the spelling of your email address and the domain (the part after the @) are correct. Also look in your spam and junk mail folders, wait a moment, and check again. The official guidance also mentions receiving the code again with the resend button on the registration screen, or clearing your browser cache (temporary files) and trying a different browser. If it still does not arrive, contact the broker's customer support.

I did not submit my ID and proof of address when signing up. Is that all right?

You can submit them later in the broker's client portal. However, according to the official information, some features may be limited before verification is complete, and depositing and withdrawing money is also said to be affected by whether you are verified. Document checks and approval are handled directly by the broker; we only provide guidance in English and do not receive or store documents.

My documents will not upload in the Client Portal.

The common causes of a blocked upload are a file that is too large or a format that is not allowed. The size limit and the supported formats are written in the official guidance, so check there first. Try compressing the file or reducing the image size and uploading it again; if that still does not work, contact the broker's customer support.

How do I make a deposit with Vantage?

You do this in the Vantage Client Portal or the Vantage app. After logging in, tap 'Funds' in the menu, choose 'Deposit', then enter the trading account and the amount you want to deposit and select a payment method. All deposit processing is handled by the broker; our site only provides guidance in English. Please remember that the money you deposit is used for trading, so you can lose your capital.

I made a deposit but the money has not arrived. Where can I check?

First, go to 'Funds → Transaction History → Deposit' in the Client Portal ('Profile → Funds' in the app) and check the date, trading account, deposit method, amount, and processing status. According to the official guidance, it can be delayed by processing delays, system problems, or additional verification procedures, and it can take longer on public holidays and weekends. If it is still not credited after some time, contact the broker's customer support. Deposit confirmation and processing are all done by the broker, so we cannot look them up on our site.

How do I receive a deposit bonus, and can I withdraw it?

First opt in through the Client Portal and complete a qualifying deposit, and the credit bonus will be paid into your account. There are conditions on the minimum deposit amount and the eligible account types, so check the exact criteria in Vantage's official guidance; you can cancel the opt-in at any time in the portal. The bonus credit itself cannot be withdrawn or transferred to anyone else, but profits earned by trading with that credit are added to your balance and can be withdrawn through the usual withdrawal process. Conversely, losses are deducted from your balance, and if you withdraw your deposit or profits the credit is also reduced in proportion to that amount; trading carries the risk of losing your principal.

Why is two-factor authentication (2FA) needed for withdrawals? What do I do if I change phones?

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a step that checks a one-time numeric code in addition to your password, and the official guidance explains that this step is what makes it possible for only the account holder to approve a withdrawal. Even if someone finds out your password, they cannot take your money without the authenticator app. When you change phones, if you can still use the old device, go to Profile > Security Management > Security Authenticator App in the Client Portal, click 'Edit', enter the code from your current device, and scan the QR code again with the authenticator app on the new device. If you cannot use the old device, you can change it in the Vantage app under Profile > Security > Two-Factor Authentication by verifying your identity with email, face verification, or your mobile number, or you can send verification materials to the broker's customer support email and request manual removal, with the required documents decided by the broker. It states that withdrawals are paused for 48 hours after you change your email or phone number or re-register your authenticator, and for 24 hours after you change your login password.

You can try the same screens with virtual money, and it is not too late to start once you are used to it.
